Paper Options for Roll Labels
Both cut-to-size and roll materials come in a matte, gloss, or high-gloss finish. Matte offers a rustic and organic look, while gloss and high-glosssurfaces let the colors pop. Both matte and gloss are applied on labels found on products displayed indoors.
SEMI-GLOSS PAPER: The most popular label material, suitable for short term use indoor, where the product is not exposed to weather conditions. Silver and gold versions are also available. This material is used to produce labels applied on cardboard packaging, bottles and bulk packaging (transport labels). Available adhesives: standard and strong.
POLYPROPYLENE FOIL (PP FOIL): This material is resistant to humidity and is applied on flat and even surfaces for short-term use (4-6 months). Available in white, transparent and silver versions. Polypropylene labels are more durable than paper labels and can be used on rigid packaging, frozen goods, or as special applications (e.g. labels applied on tires). Available adhesives: standard, strong and very strong adhesive.
POLYESTER FOIL (PET FOIL): This material is resistant to humidity and chemicals and therefore, suitable for challenging and long-term applications. Available in white and transparent versions. Used for labels that require high resilience
(e.g. automotive industry).
